Since 2007, Luann Sinclair has been providing legal counsel for Tower’s office, retail, and residential projects, construction, engineering, architecture, and human resources. Her work involves drafting and negotiating legal documents including leases, purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, joint venture agreements, easements, construction and architecture agreements, and employment law documents.

Luann began her legal career 31 years ago as an attorney for a local boutique real estate law firm and spent the next 18 years in multi-office international law firms focusing on complex real estate transactions for lenders, developers, landlords and investors.  She went in-house and served as counsel and vice-president of the J.E. Robert Company, and then as corporate counsel for Stanley Martin Companies. Her enthusiasm for the industry began with a desire to work on exciting real estate transactions and to learn about real estate developments, joint ventures, financing, real estate markets, architecture, and construction law.

Luann received her JD degree from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, and her BA degree from Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts.

A LEED® Accredited Professional (AP) and member of the District of Columbia Bar, Luann has volunteered for organizations such as the National Association of Women Lawyers, Hebrew Home of Greater Washington, Capital Area Food Bank, and fundraisers for the Georgetown Day School Parents’ Association.

For recreation, Luann is an avid long distance runner and downhill skier; she enjoys biking, both on and off road, and mountaineering.  Luann and her husband Michael have two children, Shawn and Jake.
