Jim Lewis is responsible for all mechanical equipment in The Tower Companies’ office buildings and apartments. In his 39 years with the company and over 50 years in the mechanical field, Jim has maintained a fascination with how mechanical equipment works, creatively solving energy challenges with new designs and more efficient equipment.

Jim believes in and works toward achieving the vision of The Tower Companies, and knows that the only limit to his accomplishments is his imagination. As part of his work designing energy management systems for buildings, he has replaced standard chillers with the most efficient on the market and designed a new, more energy efficient and dependable domestic hot water system.

Jim served in the U.S. Air Force and received an honorable discharge as a Staff Sergeant. He is a trained machinist and HVAC technician. He also holds a Master license in refrigeration from the state of Maryland and a First Class Engineer license from the District of Columbia.

Jim is an avid photographer, but his true passion is to develop his own building automation system and water conservation program.
